About the product
Banner Engineering TM18VN6DV is a photo-electric sensor from the TM18 series, designed in a diffuse mode heavy-duty format. This sensor features a nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing with an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The TM18VN6DV operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6 and comes in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 500mm, and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm. Its response time is 3ms / 0.003 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The thread size for installation is M18.
