About the product

Banner Engineering T18-2VPLP-2M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The T18-2VPLP-2M has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of up to 6m. It emits visible red light and has a quick response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and is equipped with an M18 thread size.
