Banner Engineering T18-2VNRL-808378 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the T18-2 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with an 8.5ft / 2.59m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. The T18-2VNRL-808378 has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M18 thread size, and it includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary). It boasts a sensing distance of 25m and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. The sensor utilizes light with a wavelength of 624 nm, which includes both infrared (IR) and visible red light, and it has a quick response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
