SMI30AN6RBQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI30AN6RBQ is a photo-electric sensor from the SMI30 series designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode "B" modulation frequency. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor, serving as the receiver component, is encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30AN6RBQ features a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It has one digital output utilizing an NPN transistor and is capable of sensing distances up to 140 meters. The sensor operates with an infrared light color, has a response time of 10ms or 0.01 seconds, operates in Light-ON mode, and utilizes a wavelength of 880 nm.
