SMI30AN6RCQ Description

Banner Engineering SMI30AN6RCQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "C" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor (receiver alone) features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30AN6RCQ has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of up to 140m. The sensor utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. Its operating mode is Light-ON.
