SMI30AN6RQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI30AN6RQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "A" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30AN6RQ features a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It has one digital output utilizing an NPN transistor, a sensing distance of up to 140 meters, and operates with infrared light at a wavelength of 880 nm. The sensor's response time is 10ms or 0.01 seconds, and it operates in a Light-ON mode.
