SMI30RN6RBQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI30RN6RBQ is a sensor from the SMI30 series designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "B" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The SMI30RN6RBQ features a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It has one digital output utilizing an NPN transistor and offers a sensing distance of up to 140 meters. The sensor operates with an infrared light color, has a response time of 10ms or 0.01 seconds, operates in Dark-ON mode, and utilizes a wavelength of 880 nm.
