SMI306EQ Description
Banner Engineering SMI306EQ is a sensor within the SMI30 series, designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode "A" modulation frequency photo-electric sensor. This intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor functions as an emitter alone, encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 7/8" mini connector for connectivity. The SMI306EQ operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions.
