About the product
Banner Engineering SM31EPDQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as an emitter alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SM31EPDQD operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It has a rectangular shape, a sensing distance of 300mm, emits visible red light, and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms (0.001 s).
