SM312DSC Description
Banner Engineering SM312DSC is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, featuring a diffuse mode with shielded cable and potentiometer adjustment for "C" modulation frequency. It is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for M18 threaded mount installation, it can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM312DSC offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The sensing distance is 380mm, with infrared (IR) light color and a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
