SM312C2QD Description

Banner Engineering SM312C2QD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. The SM312C2QD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12 standards, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 43mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light. The sensor's response time is swift at 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
