FCS-K20-AP8X Turck Flow Sensors

Turck FCS-K20-AP8X is a sensor designed for flow monitoring, featuring a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing for durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +60°C and consumes 70mA / 0.07A of current. This sensor is IP67 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water ingress. It has a response time of 20-40 seconds during startup and 1-5 seconds during normal operation. Equipped with 1 x digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP), it also includes a 2m cable for connectivity. The sensor's shape is a 20mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel, and it supports a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. It offers protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. Designed for air flow monitoring, it can detect flow rates between 50cm/s and 15m/s. As part of the FCS series, it is an instrumentation insertion probe flow monitor sensor / switch with a 20mm flange process port for connection. It can withstand pressures up to 1bar (14.5psi) and is suitable for use with media temperatures ranging from -10°C to +70°C. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.).
