Turck FCS-M18-AN8X-0.2-RS4T is a sensor designed for flow monitoring, featuring a nickel-plated brass housing suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C. It consumes 70mA / 0.07A of current and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (20-30Vdc; NPN) and is shaped as an M18 partially threaded barrel. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The flow rate capability of this sensor spans from 50cm/s to 15m/s (air), making it suitable for a wide range of air flow monitoring applications. It serves as an instrumentation insertion probe flow monitor sensor / switch within the FCS series. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin M12 Eurofast QD connector and an M18 threaded male process port. It can withstand pressure up to 10bar (145psi) and is designed to operate with a supply voltage range of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.), while the medium temperature range is from -10°C to +70°C.
