SM31ELMHS-40380 Banner Proximity Sensors

Banner Engineering SM31ELMHS-40380 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 7.5" pigtail terminated with an Amp connector. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM31ELMHS-40380 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape allows for a sensing distance of up to 30m, utilizing infrared (IR) light, and it boasts a rapid response time of 0.3ms or 0.0003 seconds.
