SM312LVAG-29040 Banner Proximity Sensors

Banner Engineering SM312LVAG-29040 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The SM312LVAG-29040 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It is equipped with a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and various NEMA standards including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring durability in diverse environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance between 55mm and 2m. It emits visible red light and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
