Banner Engineering SM312F is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with a glass fiber material and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312F is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm, and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s.
