Q20ELQ5 Description

Banner Engineering Q20ELQ5 is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the emitter component within the Q20 series. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material, ensuring durability. It features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The Q20ELQ5 offers a sensing distance of up to 20 meters and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 624 nm for detection. It is characterized by a rapid response time, with an ON time of 1ms (0.001 s) and an OFF time of 0.6ms (0.0006 s). This sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed with a rectangular shape and provides a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments.
