Banner Engineering SMA31ELQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as an emitter alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. The SMA31ELQD operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. It features a rectangular shape, a sensing distance of up to 30m, and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm.
