About the product
Banner Engineering SM312DQDP-68020 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, featuring a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-wired with a 6ft / 1.8m pigtail terminated with a 9-pin D-Sub connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for M18 threaded mount installation, it can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM312DQDP-68020 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can detect objects up to a sensing distance of 380mm using infrared (IR) light. The sensor's response time is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
