About the product

Banner Engineering QS18EP6LP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring an M18 threaded mount for easy installation. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is equipped with a retro-reflective mode and TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring straightforward connectivity. Part of the QS18 Expert series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for demanding environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes visible red light for detection. The QS18EP6LP supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
