About the product
Banner Engineering DS18VN6LPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features an M18 threaded mount and is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and has a sensing distance of up to 3.5m. The DS18VN6LPQ5 has a fast response time of 2ms / 0.002 s and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It is designed as part of the DS18 series and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.).
