About the product
Banner Engineering SM312DQDP-79312 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with an 8ft / 2.4m pigtail terminated with a 9-pin D-Sub connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM312DQDP-79312 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It is protected to IP67 and meets NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12 standards for enclosure protection. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances up to 380mm and uses infrared (IR) light. The response time of the sensor is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
