S12SP6RQP Banner Proximity Sensors

Banner Engineering S12SP6RQP is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S12 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with a polycarbonate lens and a polyurethane end cap. It is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P. The S12SP6RQP has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M12 thread size. It features one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), a sensing distance of up to 15 meters, and emits visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm. The sensor's response times are 3ms for turning on and 1.5ms for turning off, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
