About the product
Banner Engineering Q20APARQ5 is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component in an opposed mode alarm output setup. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius and is housed in a thermoplastic casing, ensuring durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it offers a sensing distance of up to 12 meters and utilizes visible red light for detection. The Q20APARQ5 features a rectangular shape, an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection against ingress, and is powered by a DC supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It includes one digital output (PNP transistor) and operates in a Light-ON mode, with a response time of 1ms (ON) and 0.6ms (OFF).
