About the product
Banner Engineering Q20APDQ3 is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing, providing a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6 against dust and water ingress. The Q20APDQ3 operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of 250mm. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 645 nm and operates in a Light-ON mode. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and features a rapid response time of 0.8ms (0.0008 s) for quick detection tasks.
