About the product
Banner Engineering Q20KAF200Q5 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a background suppression system with I.O. link potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. The Q20 series sensor boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, offering durability and clear signal transmission. With an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, it is well-suited for harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol for enhanced connectivity and control. The sensing distance ranges from 30mm to 200mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 632 nm. It offers flexible operating modes, including Light-ON and Dark-ON, and features a single digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 2.8ms (0.0028 s).
