About the product
Banner Engineering Q20KAF200Q is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a background suppression system with I.O. link potentiometer adjustment for enhanced accuracy. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6 against dust and water ingress. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol for seamless integration into automated systems. With a sensing distance ranging from 30mm to 200mm and utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 632 nm, it can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor provides a quick response time of 2.8ms and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for reliable signaling.
