VS8LEJ Description
Banner Engineering VS8LEJ is a Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring a thermoplastic housing and a lens made of Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is equipped with a Polyurethane (PUR) cable, measuring 6.5ft / 2m in length, terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +50 °C and offers a quick response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The VS8LEJ, part of the VS8 series, is designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode, capable of sensing distances up to 3m. It emits visible red light at a wavelength of 655 nm and is housed in a rectangular shape. This sensor is protected against ingress with a degree of protection rated at IP67.
