VS8LEJQ Description
Banner Engineering VS8LEJQ is a Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, with a polyurethane (PUR) cable for connectivity. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +50°C and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms. It comes pre-wired with a 7.5" pigtail that terminates in a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It utilizes a visible red light with a wavelength of 655 nm and is designed as a through-beam system for opposed mode operation, capable of sensing distances up to 3m.
