About the product
Banner Engineering SM30PRLQDB is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, belonging to the SM30 series. This sensor operates on a through-beam system with "B" modulation frequency and is specifically built for washdown applications. It features a durable thermoplastic housing and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin 7/8" mini connector for easy installation. The sensor is designed to work within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. With an IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K degree of protection, it is well-suited for harsh environmental conditions. The SM30PRLQDB has a cylindrical M30 threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and offers a sensing distance of up to 150m. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm and boasts a quick response time of 10ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, enhancing its versatility in various applications.
