Banner Engineering QS18VN6LAFQ1 is an adjustable-field Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for fine-tuning. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy integration into various setups. Part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The sensing distance ranges from 30 to 150mm, and it emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.7ms / 0.0007 s.
