About the product
Banner Engineering Q40SP6R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as the receiver component within an opposed mode setup. It features a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and is mounted using an M30 threaded mount. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It falls under the Q40 DC series and offers a sensing distance of up to 60m with an infrared light source at a wavelength of 950 nm. The Q40SP6R W/30 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a single digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 3ms for ON and 1.5ms for OFF. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6P standards.
