Banner Engineering Q3XTBLD-Q8 is a diffuse Class 2 laser contrast sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring distinction of colors or contrast levels. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. This sensor is equipped with a background suppression system and TEACH mode for enhanced functionality. It connects via a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring compatibility with standard interfaces. The Q3X series sensor boasts a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The rectangular, nickel-plated housing with an acrylic lens is designed for durability, and it has a sensing distance of 0 to 300mm.
