Banner Engineering PVD100Q W/6IN-85934 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for both diffuse and retro-reflective sensing modes. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50 °C and features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector. This sensor has a rectangular shape with dimensions including a 100mm array length, a net height of 15mm, a net width of 30mm, and a net depth of 138mm. It is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic clear window, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2. The PVD100Q operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a sensing distance of up to 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode. The light color emitted is green and red, with a wavelength of 525 nm and 625 nm respectively, and a beam spacing/pitch of 28.6mm. It offers digital outputs through 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a current consumption of 88mA / 0.088 A. The operating modes available are NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed).
