PVD100-72066 Banner Pick-to-Light Sensors

Banner Engineering PVD100-72066 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for diffuse/retro-reflective sensing modes. It operates within an ambient air temperature of +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm, with a rectangular shape and dimensions including a 100mm array length. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads, offering a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic clear window. The net width and depth are 30 mm and 138 mm, respectively. This sensor can detect objects up to 2m away in retro-reflective mode and 400mm away in diffuse mode, with a 28.6mm beam spacing/pitch. It operates in both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) modes, emitting light in green and red with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm. The device includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a current consumption of 88mA / 0.088 A.
