About the product
Banner Engineering PVD100 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for diffuse/retro-reflective sensing mode modified for automotive applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature of +50 °C and features a net height of 15 mm, a net width of 30 mm, and a net depth of 138 mm, with an array length of 100mm. The sensor is housed in aluminum with an acrylic clear window and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2 and operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The PVD100 has a rectangular shape and provides a sensing distance of 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode. It emits light in green and red colors, with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm, respectively. The sensor supports both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor).
