About the product
Banner Engineering MIAD9F is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor designed for precision detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer for easy adjustment and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for convenient connection. As part of the MIAD9 NAMUR series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with a nominal 12Vdc, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic casing with glass fiber. It emits an infrared (IR) light and provides one digital output (NAMUR) with a rapid response time of 5ms / 0.005 s.
