About the product

Banner Engineering M12PLV is a photo-electric sensor from the M12 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light and is housed in nickel-plated brass with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. This sensor is shaped in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a wavelength of 660 nm. The M12PLV can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6. It supports Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has an M12 thread size, and offers a sensing distance of up to 2.5m. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
