M12E Description
Banner Engineering M12E is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the M12 series. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm. It features an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape constructed from nickel-plated brass housing and a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. The M12E is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, supporting a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6.
