M12EQ5 Description
Banner Engineering M12EQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the M12 series. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm. It features an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape constructed from nickel-plated brass housing and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. The M12EQ5 is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C, it offers a sensing distance of 5m.
