PULS SLA8.100 is a power supply unit designed with a DC-OK relay contact output and functions as an AS-Interface PSU. It is encased in a robust metal housing and utilizes screw-clamp connections for secure installation. The dimensions of this unit are W91mm x H124mm x D102mm. It supports a wide range of supply voltages, including AC inputs from 85Vac to 132Vac and 187Vac to 264Vac, as well as DC inputs from 230Vdc to 375Vdc, with manual selection available for specific nominal voltages. The rated current is 8A at 30.6Vdc, with a derating at 6W/+60°C to +70°C. Designed for DIN rail mounting, it operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +70 °C. The SLA8.100 experiences a peak inrush current consumption of 27A at 240Vac input and 14A at 120Vac input. It is compatible with single-phase (1AC) or DC networks and incorporates protection functions against output overvoltage (up to 55Vdc max.), with an active input inrush current limiter and overload/short-circuit protection ranging from min. 12A to max. 25A. However, series or parallel operation is not supported. The output voltage is fixed at 30.6Vdc, with an efficiency of 0.92 at 230Vac input. The hold time is 10ms at 100Vac input, with power dissipation/losses at 21.2W under full output load at 230Vac input. Ripple is maintained at 50mVpp across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω.
