Product description
PULS CP20.242 is a DIN rail mounting power supply unit enclosed in an aluminium housing, designed for a wide range of industrial automation applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and offers various current consumption rates depending on the input voltage, including 2.23A at 230Vac, 4.26A at 120Vac, 5.15A at 100Vac, 4.64A at 110Vdc, and 1.66A at 300Vdc, with peak inrush currents of 5.5A at 230Vac and 12A at 120Vac. The unit features an IP20 degree of protection and achieves high efficiency rates of 0.956 at 230Vac and 0.942 at 120Vac. Its dimensions are W48mm x H124mm x D127mm. The CP20.242 includes a 450ms start-up delay and rise times of 145ms and 160ms under different load conditions. It is equipped with protection functions against output overvoltage and overload/short-circuit scenarios, and supports series or parallel operation for increased output voltages or power, including 1+1 redundancy with a redundancy module. The power dissipation/losses are 22.1W at 230Vac and 29.6W at 120Vac, with an output stage capacitance of 8500µF. Its electrical durability varies with temperature and output current, offering up to 488000 hours of operation under certain conditions. The ripple is maintained at 50mVpp across a wide frequency range. This AC/DC power supply unit, part of the CP-series, is designed for enhanced DC input and includes a 20% power reserve, DC-OK relay contact output, and screw-clamp connections. It accepts a supply voltage range of 88Vdc-360Vdc and 85Vac-264Vac, with specific tolerances for over and under voltages, and provides a rated current of 24A at 24Vdc in temperatures up to +45°C, with derating at higher temperatures. The rated power is 576W at temperatures up to +45°C, decreasing linearly up to +70°C. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with a 200mV turn-ON overshoot and a hold time of 32ms at standard input voltages.
