Banner Engineering VSMQAN6CV50 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a stainless steel housing and sapphire optics, ensuring durability and resilience. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +55°C and features a light-ON operating mode. This sensor is equipped with a single digital output (NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 2.5ms / 0.0025 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor emits infrared (IR) light and is designed for diffuse mode operation, with a sensing distance of 50mm. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. This model, part of the VSM series, is protected against ingress by its IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
