About the product
Banner Engineering VS2KAP5Q is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS material and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a Light-ON NO (Normally Open) operating mode. This sensor is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 1ms (ON) and 0.5ms (OFF). It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 940 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light, and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). Designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode, it has a sensing distance of 1.2m. The VS2KAP5Q is part of the VS2 series and functions as a photo-electric array, comprising both emitter and receiver pairs.
