VS2AN5R Description
Banner Engineering VS2AN5R is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS lns. and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a Light-ON NO (Normally Open) operating mode. This sensor is equipped with 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 1ms for ON and 0.5ms for OFF. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 940 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light, and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. Designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode, it has a sensing distance of up to 3m. The VS2AN5R is part of the VS2 series and functions as a photo-electric sensor (receiver alone).
