Banner Engineering VS25EBMQ-79965 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS lns. and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. This sensor features a quick response time, with an ON time of 1ms (0.001 s) and an OFF time of 0.5ms (0.0005 s). It comes pre-wired with a 6" (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor emits an infrared (IR) light at a wavelength of 940 nm. It is designed to work within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. As part of the VS2 series, this through-beam system, or opposed mode medium range sensor, has a sensing distance of 1.2m and functions as a photo-electric sensor (emitter alone).
