About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CV W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The SM312CV W/30 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 16mm. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
