SM2A312CV Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312CV is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), has a sensing distance of 16mm, and uses visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm.
