About the product

Banner Engineering SM2A91RQD is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the 912 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a black Polybutylene Terephthalate (P.B.T.) with an Acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin 1/2" mini connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage ranging from 24Vac to 250Vac (with nominal voltages of 120Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and is designed for M30 threaded mount installation. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius. The SM2A91RQD offers a degree of protection rated at IP66, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 12, and 13, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape measures 37 mm in width, 51 mm in height, and 36 mm in depth. The sensor features 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and is capable of sensing distances up to 200ft / 60m.
