About the product
Banner Engineering S30SN6RE is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the S30 series. This sensor features a pair comprising an emitter and receiver, housed in a thermoplastic casing. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for connection. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, making it suitable for challenging environments. The S30SN6RE has a cylindrical M30 threaded/barrel shape, includes one digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC), and can detect objects up to 60m away. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection and offers a quick response time of 3ms. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, providing flexibility for various application requirements.
